To help alleviate some of the challenges facing our local animal shelters, we launched our Shelter Sponsorship program in March of this year. This initiative allows individuals to sponsor a dog from Richmond Animal Care & Control. Here’s how it works:
Program Overview
Participants can purchase a Shelter Outing directly from our website. One of our highly trained professional dog walkers will then visit Richmond Animal Care & Control and take one of the most at-risk dogs out for an hour long, one-on-one outing to a local park, where we will provide them with much-needed exercise, socialization, and enrichment. This program not only benefits the dogs but also provides financial support to the shelter.

Benefits For Animals
The Shelter Sponsorship program offers numerous benefits for the animals involved.
